We are more than individuals. We are interconnected

We are more than individuals. We are interconnected.

We are social creatures, designed to live and love amongst one another. We are meant to understand and appreciate each person, recognizing that there is a divine presence within every human life.

Every day we face challenges to this harmony and peace. While we cannot control the world and how it works, we can control how we direct our own energy towards friends, family, and others we meet on our path.

The effort we spend on one another is the effort that determines who we really are – and Zen teacher Thich Nhat Hanh has a wonderful take on how compassion and love help us to develop as human beings:

“When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you don't blame the lettuce. You look for reasons it is not doing well. It may need fertilizer, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce.

Yet if we have problems with our friends or family, we blame the other person. But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce.

Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason and argument. That is my experience. No blame, no reasoning, no argument, just understanding.

If you understand, and you show that you understand, you can love, and the situation will change”  ― Thích Nhất Hạnh

DOROTHY' HEALING CENTER

- the energetic experience -

Holistic Wellness is the Truest form of healing. The essence of healing comes from the body's ability to alleviate stress or process stress patterns.

All people experience stress, how we process our stress makes the difference between optimum health and dis-ease.

From the moment we come into our world, our body is now ready to process and experience life. We are immediately bombarded with chemical, physical, emotional, radio active and micro active energy stress ors.

When our system is not clear or blocked, we can experience emotional, mental or physical problems.

When our nervous system is freed up, with out interruption, we can process our experiences freely and allow our selfs to be dis-ease free. We can evolve to a place where our heart and head are at one and experience life at a holistic level.

We are designed to have the ability to process everything, and I mean every thing that comes our way in the life experience.

Bodywork is designed to keep you inspired, healthy and happy. Each time we step out of the box of what we think we know to be true, we are given the opportunity of a new perspective and vision of reality, that can continually evolve to higher states of consciousness.

When a person begins to receive bodywork regularly, they will start to experience many changes in their body and their perception of life.

After a certain point you will experience having more energy, your perception of reality will begin to change, you will feel revitalized and want to participate in life more readily.

Practitioners that work in a non-invasive manner honor other human beings in their life process and allow healing to take place in the divine order of our existence.

HOLISM VS. MEDICAL

Staying healthy has more to do with what you actively participate in a day then any drug could do in a lifetime. Health is about feeling good and experiencing joy. Its the ability to adapt and change with the environment and the people and circumstances you encounter throughout your day.

The most effective things we can do to get healthy or stay healthy are bodywork methods, reiki, massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, and NSA practitioners.  Eat clean organic foods, stay  away from dairy, sugars and gmo wheats and have a positive thought process!

Get on an exercise plan for the week and most important take quiet time for yourself everyday to reflect. The stillness is when the most change happens.

When you take medicine you are not giving the body a chance to make the change on its own. Medicine is great for emergencies and great while your in the process of changing to wellness. I have seen thousands of patients over the past 20 years, and its always amazing to watch someone heal cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia, depression etc. on its own with a facilitator.

There is a freedom that comes with letting the body heal naturally and it is empowering to see what is possible! D. Green HHP

Craniosacral Therapy

- CranioSacral Therapy (CST) -

CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:

Migraine Headaches

  • Chronic Neck and Back Pain

  • Motor-Coordination Impairments

  • Colic

  • Autism

  • Central Nervous System Disorders

  • Orthopedic Problems

  • Concussions and Traumatic Brain Injuries

  • Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia

  • Spinal Cord Injuries

  • Scoliosis

  • Infantile Disorders

  • Learning Disabilities

  • Chronic Fatigue

  • Emotional Difficulties

  • Stress and Tension-Related Problems

The Path of Ease

by Kristin D. Hillard, D.C. (3/91)

In Network chiropractic, a contact held on the patient which is intended to facilitate the healing of that person. There are parameters which are observed such as a lack of movement during the inward and outward flow of breath, or the presence of microwave radiation in area of the spine. The key perception in assessing the value of a contact is, “Does it bring ease?”

Ease is perceived as an increase in respiratory depth and/or movement of the patient in harmony with the breath. A contact which brings ease will cause the patient to breathe in a dynamic, renewing way. The breath will be deeper and move up and down the body. The contact which does not bring ease will cause the breath to become shallow, the movement to still.

As a doctor, the areas of the spine which are not moving, where subluxations/fixations can be detected may seem important. The ‘Doctor’ will want to ‘diagnose’ the problem.

The doctor will want to fix the problem right now. It is only the individual who can heal themselves. As a doctor or healer, we are facilitators. It is not our place to know when or fully how the patient will best be-healed. It is not our place to assume to know when a subluxation is ready to release. We can simply encourage ease.

With the enhancing of ease, the patient’s heart and mind will open. The emotional blockages which have caused them to armor their heart and soul will soften. Ease will bring understanding and relaxation to the patient. As their understanding and ease increases, they will allow themselves to be themselves, to forgive their lack of honoring which initiated nervous system aberrations.

When a doctor encourages ease rather than trying to force where it is not ready to be, they are honoring that person. Honoring is an essential element in being a part of another’s healing process. We honor when we recognize the God within each man or woman, when we allow them to be themselves. Whatever that may be at the time. It means that we must love without judgement, unconditionally. Trusting in the process of life that ease will bring openness and healing.

In our daily lives and relationships, we can see a similar reality played out. If we are to live a life of healing, we must learn to honor our friends, co-worker, acquaintances and family. Our interactions shall bring ease to their experience, or else we are not honoring them. When we are with someone, and we bring disharmony into their perceived experience, then we are not honoring their process. It is at this point we need to reassess our perception.

Inability to honor people we care about is a reflection of a self dishonoring. When we bring disharmony into other peoples life, it is a time to find where disharmony is occurring within us. To honor is to love unconditionally. Honoring is healing. When we place a condition upon our love for ourselves, it is dishonor. We will heal ourselves by bringing honor and unconditional love to ourselves. As a result to this process, we will find it so much easier to honor others to love unconditionally. As we increasingly love ourselves unconditionally, so we can extend this to others.

‘I am convinced that unconditional love is the most powerful known stimulant of the immune system ‘...” The truth is that love heals’
